Welcome to the DOCET website, where you can access all our free CET resources including current material valid for CET points plus a fantastic archive of past video, audio and document resources to explore.

Thank you to all those optometrists who completed our recent Survey (Winter 2011-12).  The Survey has now closed and the results are being analysed.  We will publish information on the feedback received in due course.

The Optical Confederation has recently published new 'Guidance on Safeguarding Children and Vulnerable Adults' for optical practitioners and practices, and this complements the existing guidance issued by The College of Optometrists.  All the guidance, together with the free DOCET Safeguarding Children Level 1 online training package for optometrists, is now available via the E-learning pages of this site.  DOCET is developing an additional online training package in safeguarding vulnerable adults - watch this space for more details.

'OQ81' will be published in early March 2012 and includes articles on subretinal implants and paperless practice management systems.  You can now listen to OQ in a variety of ways including as a free podcast, directly via the website, and as a free iPhone app.  You can also complete the MCQs for CET points via the website or direct from your iPhone. See the OQ pages on this site for more details.

We would be delighted to receive your feedback on the website or on any DOCET resources - you can email us at enquiries@docet.info.
