Safeguarding Children

child logo2There is a substantial education and training requirement for all those who work with children.  Roles are varied and levels of specialism differ, but one thing is key: safeguarding children is everyone's business.

'An Introduction to Safeguarding Children' is an accredited Level 1 e-learning course covering a variety of child protection issues that you will find relevant in your role when working with children and young people.  The course discusses various types of abuse and explains what to do if you suspect that a child is being abused or neglected.

The e-learning course will take around one to two hours in total to complete, depending on your individual learning speed, but you can do it in stages and take it at your own pace.  All learners will receive a certificate upon completion.
